Stumbled across this little gastro pub tucked down a small alleyway. We had our dog with us so we weren't allowed into Scotts or The Ivy which we tried first. Very impressed with the quality of the food, fish was as good as anything we have had at Scotts and its a nice relaxed atmosphere away from the busy highstreet. Oysters very fresh

However, when I mentioned this to the waiter, they promptly offered to replace it. The second plate was delicious, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. What made my visit even more enjoyable were the conversations I had with fellow diners—two old friends and 2 lovely siblings from Africa. Their warmth added a sense of community to my afternoon. Overall, Watermans Cafe is a charming venue with great food, attentive service, and a friendly atmosphere. I had a lovely afternoon and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant meal by the river.

This an absolute jewel! Recent change of ownership by a talented family. The food is fresh, substantive, innovative and delicious. Everything is so fresh and beautifully presented. Even the baklava is home made! Immaculate tables, constantly being cleaned by attentive staff. This is my new go to place…..

The waiters went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! They were professional, very polite and the service was overall very satisfying. Great atmosphere, good prices. Our waitress was called Yara and she was amazing. Very, very attentive without being too much - if I could give 6 stars, I would! In a heartbeat. This was my first time here and I will be back!
